Space exploration and transportation.

The vacuum isn't actually vacuum, we have evidence enough to suppose that, e.g. vacuum energy and Hawkins radiation. Electromagnetic radiation doesn't travel in the vacuum. Gravity does not curve the nothingness of the empty space. All these are effects made by the Aether, a non-material thing that is beyond our detection for now and fills the empty space. The quantum foam that is recently discovered is just the fundamental particles of the Aether. Now it 's easier to get how the "empty space" - along with time - can be curved so that velocity and acceleration can be artificially created without a force or energy spent by work of a force. Much less energy is needed to create the necessary fields. This is Alcubiere-White Warp drive.

Our starships will be able to transport us to other planets within some hours and a network of Space Elevators along with orbital transport Scramjet aerospace-crafts can take us to their starport.

A Maglev Tube-Train will connect the whole planet. The England-France tunnel along with a future Siberia-Alaska tunnel will be used to establish a planetary Maglev railway. The network could be supplemented by vertical tunnels: Paris to Madrid, Berlin to Rome, Warshaw to Thessaloniki, Vladivostok to Seoul etc.

Air and Sea Transports will be reduced and used only to transport to the nearest Maglev Train station. But since Air and Sea Transports can be disrupted by bad weather, floating submerged tunnels will establish transportation lines that cannot be disrupted.

There are also Self-driving Flying Vehicles that can take us from our house to these Maglev railway stations.

Speaking at the MIT-China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum 2013, Terrafugia co-founder and CEO Carl Dietrich said self-flying cars, such as Terrafugia’s in-development TF-X, represent a less complicated technical challenge than that faced by self-driving cars.

The possibility that a person can be carried along with his small personal flying vehicle - with his luggage inside his car - in these Maglev Tube Trains, Space Elevators, Orbital Spacecrafts and Starships is also a reality. Train wagons can be designed so that they can take vehicles instead of people.

So, within a couple of days, someone will be able to travel from any city on earth to any colony within the solar system. It will take some weeks to get to nearby stars.
