From our cosmology post, we get the following conclusions.
a. The illusion of matter: Since observation is a sampling from a wavefunction - and is even observer-dependent - then all phenomena are "psychical", there are NO physical phenomena and materialist phenomenology is trashed. Nothingness or vacuum can give energy and existing things. Space and time are also created illusions and not absolute properties of nature. Materialism is no longer a valid worldview. Scientists may "regard the physical world as made of information, with energy and matter as incidentals".
b. Soul/Consciousness: The human brain is an exaflop-order quantum computer, uploads information into the quantum field and this information remains for eternity. Just as a particle 'writes' all of its information on its wave function, the brain is the tangible 'floppy disk' on which we save our data, and this data is then 'uploaded' into the 'spiritual' quantum field. Quantum information CAN NEVER be destroyed, not even in a black hole, so this information can exist for eternity. Quantum effects feature in human cognition. The structures involved in this quantum cognition might be protein strands called microtubules. These are found in most of our cells, including the neurons in our brains. Vibrations of microtubules can adopt a quantum superposition and the nuclei of phosphorus atoms are capable of sustaining quantum superpositions.
c. No reality: The alternative "realities" are alternative tracks of the chaotic solutions of the non-linear Universe's dynamics. The illusion of alternative universes or multiverse came from the Chaos since there is only a present and given that present, there is neither an inherent history of the past nor a fate of the future. There is no objective reality, the reality is observer-dependent in the quantum level and there is already a well-established theory that could extend these results to the macroscopic world.
d. Parallel Worlds: There are actually six dimensions and not four. Our world has a structure similar to a cube. Therefore there are six parallel worlds.
e. Gaia: The Biosphere on the whole planet Earth, Gaia, is a unified super-organism that thinks and reacts. Evolution is able to learn from previous experience, which could provide a better explanation of how evolution by natural selection produces such apparently intelligent designs. It shows that natural selection is sufficient to produce significant features of intelligent problem-solving. DNA is like a computer program but far, far more advanced than any software ever created.
f. The great loop: The Universe's Life Cycle has neither beginning nor end, it goes in cycles. From a Big Bang, through a universe we now live and - supposedly - "know", it then passes through a Black Holes Era and it is wholly converted to photons and it cools down until the photons freeze and start to fall back to the center. Then there is another Big Bang and the cycle begins again.
This is in brief what the latest science says about our world. Yes, we live inside a software built on information that eternally repeats itself. Our world is not actually material but is virtual, much like a simulation. Matter/Energy are illusions and not fundamental. Information is fundamental and the Universe is software built around consciousness.
The Universe is a software built on Information and not material built on Matter/Energy - they are illusions - and is built around consciousness. Consciousness is an OOP object able to hold memories of life experiences and to display a behavior based on these memories and an algorithm that creates desires and decisions. There are many consciousness objects linked through a network in a reality created by the Universal Software. That 's why reality is observer-dependent and not objective. There is a loose connection between each person's reality but is different where details are considered.
In such a software Universe everything is possible to exist like in a V.R. game like deities or witchcraft. But why is such a view ridiculed while materialism is being praised? Because materialism provides political stability and protects people from religious scams. The lack of proofs helped a lot but is not substantial, most people accept mainstream religion or atheism without proofs. Even now some partial proofs from science in our favor are ignored by the majority.
The atheists don't like it and tell otherwise because there has to be a Creator Being that provided the Information to create the Universe. And this Information is the Word of God that is a God as well. This Word of God is called Chaos by the Pagans and is the Primordial Father of Everything.
In every religious tradition, there is an admission that it is not as it was initially planned and an "explanation" for this. The God is supposedly all-good and would not plan suffering and unhappiness. I don't accept their explanations but instead, I call this "the primordial bug". Yes, in my opinion, there is a programming mistake, the Primordial Bug, and that 's why we experience all this evil. Yes, evil came from a programming mistake of that Being. There is no other way, an all-good being creates something that is evil, only by a mistake. So, our Creator is not perfect since It makes mistakes. It is by far better than us though...
Another mistake of religions is the "free will", there is no free will since everything is programmed. Free will has no appropriate definition, everything we want and decide to do is programmed and comes from algorithms inside our brain. What is the free will of an algorithm? It has not even a definition... So we do not suffer because of any "free will" of ours. We suffer because something did not go as planned.
The Primordial Bug in the Universal Software is a much better explanation than Satan, free will and the like...
